Penis Exercises vs Enlargement Pills – Which is Better?

There is lot of debate about how effective the different methods of enlarging your penis are – so I have picked the top two methods (penis exercises and pills) to compare.

Penis Enlargement Exercises

Penis exercises are one of the more popular methods of penis enlargement – there are a lot of people who have tried these with good rates of success.

Some exercise programs will claim that you can grow by as much as 4 inches in as little as a month or two.  This may be possible, but is an extreme example.  It is more realistic to expect to grow my up to two inches over a period of three to six months.  As each body is different though, it is hard to predict what the effect will be on any individual – the success rate for those who do the correct exercises consistently is high though – over 80% as far as I am aware.

Like with exercising any other part of the body effectively and building the muscle up, the results last for some time.

Penis Enlargement Medicines

There are a lot of these around – some are very expensive too, costing over $100 for a bottle that lasts just a few weeks in some cases.

The theory is usually that they will increase the blood flow to your member, and that way make it bigger.  The effect is only ever temporary - and often (according to make reviews and people I have heard from) not there at all!

There are some penis enlargement pills that do work for some people though, and many have reported success with them.  The main dangers are buying something that turns out to be a scam – as well as the other problems that you must also always be careful of with any kind of medication; there can be side effects.  You should always speak to a medical professional before taking any kind of medication.

In summary, penis enlargement pills are sometimes effective for short periods of time.  However, they are usually expensive, results vary considerably even with highly rated products and the effect is not permanent - it only lasts for as long as you continue to take the pills.

Which is more effective for long-term penis enlargement?

Well, in the long term things like pills and pumps are never going to work – they are only ever short term solutions to make your penis bigger.  However, there are some that are effective at this and others that are complete scams – and it is not necessarily intuitive which is better on the surface; the more expensive are not always more effective.

What is Jelqing and Does it Work?

I have mentioned jelqing as a method of enlarging the penis through exercise before on this blog (see more posts on penis enlargement exercises here).  However, I have not yet written a comprehensive guide to using this method to enlarge the penis.  That is what this post will be about.

What is Jelqing?

It is unclear where the name ‘jelq’ or ‘jelqing’ came from, however, what is more well known is that this can be (if done correctly) a good way to enlarge your penis naturally with exercises.

Jelqing involves what many describe as ‘milking the penis’.  It works in a similar way to how you would build any other muscle in your body (such as your chest or biceps).  Over time, the stress of the jelqing pressure causes the penis to expand and become larger – even harder too.

Jelqing is, however, not the only exercise that is effective at enlarging your penis – there are many more, and many (myself included) would recommend using a range of exercises to enlarge your penis, just as you would to build the muscles in the rest of your body and make them grow bigger and stronger.

How Does Jelqing Work?

Jelqing is one of the most simple penis exercises – it is often caled ‘milking’ and if pretty self explanatory.

“Jelqing works by both increasing the blood flow in the penis as well as building the smooth muscle tissue – much like weight exercises build up the rest of the muscles in your body”.

Jelqing is an effective penis exercise – however there are a lot more, and if you are new to this sort of thing I would recommend a good penis enlargement exercise program as a starting point.

Is it Effective?

For many people the answer is yes.

Please bear in mind though that every human body is different – what works for some people, may not work the same for others.

But hold on…

Be very careful when attempting to exercise your penis – it is a very delicate and sensitive part of your body, and one which you would not want to even risk causing any harm to.

There are a lot of exercise programs specifically designed for those looking to enlarge their penises using exercises like jelqing – these give the most comprehensive and safest advice as well as full program to follow which have worked for many other people.

A lot of men want to increase the size of their penis – over 65% of men claim to be unsatisfied with their size and more than half of these would consider some kind of penis enlargement method.  However, there are a lot to choose from  from pills and patches to pumps to exercises – but which ones are the most effective in a world of on-line scams and tricks?

Penis enlargement exercises are often said to be the most effective, although they are not the most well know – I suspect that the most popular are pills and other so called ‘medicines’ like patches and creams – but they do have the most positive reviews on-line (it would have to be on the Internet – how many people do you know who would feel comfortable recommending something like this!?).  That’s what this site is about – I have decided to collect together all the information I have about penis enlargement exercises for those who are interested.

What are Penis Enlargement Exercises?

Male enlargement exercises are like any other kind of exercise – but focused on the penis rather than the arms or biceps for example.  The penis is largely made up of muscle, which is one of the reasons exercises are useful to improve it’s size and even performance.

What Makes Penis Enlargement Exercises More Effective than Other Methods?

A lot of people talk about different penis enlargement methods (both natural and with drugs) – in fact, it can become very confusing trying to find out what actually works and what does not.  The most effective method in my experience is to use specially developed exercises, designed to increase the length and girth of the penis.  This is completely natural and does not involve any dangerous drugs or supplements - or any costly equipment.  But what makes it effective?

There are various exercise techniques, such as jelqing, stretching and exercises using weights.  The safest and most effective are ones that form part of an overall exercise program and do not require any equipments.

Put simply, it’s like this: the penis is mostly muscle – when you want to make a muscle bigger, stronger and perform better you exercise it and that works.  Although the muscles in the penis are much different to those in your arm for example, there is much you can do to increase the size of your penis with exercise.  You can also help correct other problems like premature ejaculation and a curvature in the penis with exercise too.

Are All Exercises Equally Effective?

There are different exercise programs (by the way, I would always recommend a fully designed exercise program rather than trying to figure it out yourself) but this is in my opinion the most complete and effective – many people have reported a noticeable difference in less than a month (although you should expect to wait about 2-3 for results generally)

What are the Top Penis Enlargement Methods?

A lot of men are not satisfied with the size of their penises – in terms of both girth and length, but is it really possible to do anything about this?  And if so what penis enlargement methods are the most effective and which ones are best avoided?

I have listed and analysed the most popular methods below – this is not a complete guide though, there is a lot of information out there and there is some debate about the effectiveness of some of these methods from person to person.  Please take into account that what works for one man will not necessarily work for another – and what is more effective for one may be less effective for another.  That said, there is a lot of research (both anecdotal and more scientific) to justify the conclusions I make in this post – just don’t be disappointed if you do not get the same results as someone else with the same methods.

The Top Penis Enlargement Methods

Penis Enlargement Pills

A lot of people who sell penis enlargement pills will tell you that they work for everyone – however, I am yet to find a real review from someone who has used this method alone and found any improvement in size at all.

The most effective methods of increasing the size of your penis is by increasing blood flow, so it seems odd to me that herbal pills would have any effect at all – and I am very sceptical of this method both in terms of its effectiveness and safety.

I would not recommend pills to someone trying to increase the size of their penis – 1/10.

Penis Enlargement Exercises

Penis enlargement exercises often only take about 10 minutes a day and can be done at home and without any expensive pills or patches.  The thinking is that because the penis is mostly muscle, you can make it stronger an bigger with exercises.

This is about the most effective penis enlargement method in my opinion – there are a lot of men who have increased the size of their penises by exercising them the correct way.  There can also be beneficial side effects such as correcting any curvature in the penis as well as sometimes stopping premature ejaculation as well as making it easier to get an erection (also making it harder for longer).

Please bear in mind that the results will vary greatly for person to person – and beware of over exercising and doing the exercises the wrong way.  To prevent this I would recommend a popular ans effective program rather than trying to teach yourself. as the penis is a very delicate part of the body and can get injured easily if you do this wrong.

Of all of the methods available I believe this to be the most effective for the most people and would recommend it above any of the others – just be careful and make sure you do it the right way!  Generally recommended - 8/10

Penis Pumps

Using a penis pump can temporarily increase the size of your penis, but it is hardly the sort of thing you want to get out before sex in front of your girlfriend!

As the effect is only temporary, you will need to do it often.  There is also a risk of injury as with penis exercises using weights (see below) and it can lead to burst capillaries.

Not something I would recommend, but does work a bit – 3/10

Penis Enlargement Patches

Very similar to enlargement pills in how they work and (in) effectiveness – not something I would recommend 1/10. 

Penis Enlargement Weights

This is much the same as with normal exercises that do not involve weights (see above) but can be very dangerous as the penis is a very sensitive part of the body and can easily be injured with heavy weights.

Not reccommended – 1/10.

Which is the Most Effective Method Then?

In my opinion the most effective method is to use exercises (without weights or strange and expensive equipment) to make your penis stronger and bigger.  This has be best success rate, although it does not work the same for everyone who uses it and has other benefits such as correcting a curvature in your penis and reducing problems like premature ejaculation in many cases.

Does Jelqing Work?

A lot of people talk about ‘jelqing’ as a mthod for enlarging their penis, but is there any evidence that it actually works?  And what of the stories that it is not only ineffective, but can cause serious injury?  Shurely that part of your body is the last place you want to hurt…

What is Jelqing?

Jelqing is a technique for enlarging the penis.  It works by using the index finger and thumb to improve blood flow through the whole of the penis – it is effectively a type of penis exercise.

Some will claim that this is effective, however, results vary considerably.  The difference is results is likely to be more because of inaccurate information about how to correctly exercise the penis though – those who perform such exercises correctly and over a long enough time span (e.g. two or three months) usually notice improvement in size.

Does it work?

For many men, yes it does – but only if done the right way.

Are there any risks?

There are risks of causing slight damage to the penis if jelqing (or any other exercise) is performed incorrectly.

It is much safer than other methods including weights, pills and surgery though.

Are there any ways to prevent injury?

Like all other exercises, the best way to make it work and prevent injury would be to follow an effective penis exercise program – see a list of the most effective ones here.

Generally speaking though, I would recommend taking it slowly, not using any ‘equipment’ (often expensive and a wast of time too) and not to do it too often.

Is it possible to enlarge your penis?

For some people the answer is yes – but it will not work the same for everyone.  Exercises are about the most effective way – see my post on the best penis enalrgement exercises here.

Not everybody who has tried such exercises has success, however, the majority of people who I know that have done it the right way and consistently for enough time have succeeded in increasing both thelength and girth of their penises.

It does make sense – the penis is mostly muscle tissue, and exercising any other muscle makes it stronger and bigger.

Are Penis Enlargement Exercises Effective?

Penis enlargement exercises are nothing new – some have suggested that men have been using some forms of penis exercises to improve their size and performance in the bedroom for hundreds of years.  This may or may not be true, however, what I know from experience is that penis enlargement exercises do work.

Much like any other muscle, it is possible to improve the performance of your penis through exercises.  The right penis exercises will not only add girth and length to your penis, but can also correct a curvature, improve stamina and make your penis much harder and stronger.

There are a lot of benefits, however, the penis is not the same as most other muscles – and so must be exercised differently.  There are some penis enlargement workout programs that I would recommend, as much of the advice that is freely available on the Internet and in forums is simply wrong.

One must be careful not to cause injury too – as this is a sensitive area of the body.  Over exercise or the wrong kind of exercises can cause serious problems – this is something that must be avoided at all costs.

Please also note that there is only so much exercises can do.  While this is by far the most effective way of improving the size of your penis and performance in the bedroom, it is not a miracle cure for anything.

It will take at least two or three months of consistent exercise to notice substantial growth – and there is a limit to how big each individual’s penis can grow.

While it is possible to add up to three or four inches to the length, this should not be treated as the norm – one to two inches over a period of six months is a much more typical result.

This is however, quite impressive in my opinion.  And bear in mind that it is still much more effective than pills (totally useless in my opinion – a complete scam) and surgery (dangerous and often ineffective).

So there you have it – a brief summary of penis enlargement exercises.  I will post more in the future about the benefits and negatives, as well as some exercises and a review of s program that I recommend to anyone interested in increasing the size of his penis.
